Colombian executive with more than 27 years of experience in Mining, Oil and Infrastructure industries, in which he has held the following positions:President of the Promotora del Puerto Integrado-Propuerto SA, President of the National Federation of Coal Producer-Fenalcarbon, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs Frontera Energy, Special Advisor on Environmental and Port Affairs of the City of Santa Marta and Manager of Corporate Affairs of Coalcorp Mining Inc. He has also represented the Republic of Colombia in the Inter-American Committee on Ports in Washington DC.

Mr. Restrepo-Solano has a Bsc. in Social Communication from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University and holds a MBA from the GSB Universidad del Rosario, and also has specialized studies in Corporate Finance at the Universidad del Rosario. He has executive training in Strategic Leadership at the Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia, United States; Social Responsibility and Sustainability at the IE Business Institute in Madrid, Spain; and International Oil and Gas Management at the Universidad de los Andes, Colombia.

Mr. Restrepo-Solano has been a member of the board of the Colombian National Association of Entrepreneurs-ANDI, National Federation of Coal Producers-Fenalcarbón, The Development Promotion Office of Barranquilla-ProBarranquilla, and is currently a member of the boards of the Gold X Mining Corp. ( TSXV:GDLX ) and CruzSur Energy Corp. ( TSXV: CZR ) which are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange ( TSX ), and the think tank Instituto de Estudios Estratégicos IEE.

 

 

Alejandro Jiménez Ramírez

Lawyer and LL.M from the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia), Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Georgetown University – McDonough School of Business. Currently Partner and Director at Aventtus., a consultancy firm leading the Cannabis and Renewable Energy practice.Partner at Qvartz Capital Partners, an entity dedicated to funding cannabis and extractive industry start-ups, as well as structure investment plans in Colombia and Peru for potential investors within this sector.  With more than 17 years of experience in Corporate Affairs (Legal, Environmental Regulation, Social Responsibility, Government Engagement, Communications and Sustainability) in the extractive sector, with Frontera Energy, Pacific Exploration and Production, Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp., and Sipetrol S.A., and more recently, with Canadian Cannabis listed companies operating in Colombia. He was algo the International Affairs Director at the Attorney General’s Office.

 

Visiting professor at the Universidad de los Andes (Faculty of Law as well as the Faculty of Business Administration).

 

 

CARLOS NÚÑEZ DE LEÓN

Legal Counsel

 

Lawyer and Master in Administrative Law from the Universidad del Rosario, with specialization studies in Criminal Law from the University of Salamanca (Spain). He is author of texts and articles on legal and infrastructure matters.

 

In the professional field, he has worked as a full professor at the Universidad del Rosario and has stood out as a senior lawyer in Criminal Law and Administrative Law, as well as a director and advisor to various entities of the Colombian State and private sector initiatives.

 

 

Laura García Caballero

Senior VP New Ventures

 

Lawyer graduated from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota,Colombia and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the IE- Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain. Mrs. Garcia has extensive knowledge in the oil & gas sector specifically in areas of government relations and stakeholder engagement, having led the area of Public Affairs in Frontera Energy and Pacific Exploration and Production, for more than 8 years. She also has experience in corporate strategic legal initiatives, creating tailor-made solutions for our client’s needs.

 

Laura is currently Partner at Aventtus Corporate Advisors, AQ Legal Partners and QVANT Financial Services. She is also and advisory board member member of Visionarium, a leadership and creativity incubator based in New York City.

 

 

Diana Merchancano-Pulido

Senior VP of Finance

 

Diana is Economist specialized in International Business from the Universidad Sergio Arboleda and Georgetown University, as well as MBA from the Instituto de Empresa de Madrid, Spain. She also has ample studies in Sustainability and Shared Value from the Instituto de Empresa de Madrid and Harvard University respectively.

 

During the last 14 years, she has worked for the extractive industry, specifically in Planning and Sustainability at Frontera Energy and Grupo de Energía de Bogotá. She has been renown for her expertise in project structuring, implementation and evaluation. She currently is Partner & Financial Director for Qvantt Financial Services, one of the branches of Qvartz Capital Partners in Latam, which has facilitated the financing and financial solutions over the projects that the firm advises.

 

 

JUAN PABLO NÚÑEZ DE LEÓN

VP Planning & Strategy

 

Civil Engineer from Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia. Specialist in Urban Water Systems Engineering from the same university and Master in Construction Management from the Ramon Llull University, Business Engineering School La Salle, in Barcelona, Spain. He has held management positions in companies of construction, Oil & Gas and Public Services sectors, standing out in technical, administrative and financial areas. He has extensive experience in the formulation and development of investment projects, as well as in the execution of projects with an emphasis on social, environmental and sustainability components. Currently he performs as Technical Manager at Aventtus Corporate Advisors and Qvartz Capital Partners.
